Software Engineer (IT Developer) — ERP Technical, Oracle NetSuite

Surabaya, Indonesia

  • 01Led end-to-end ERP data migration and reconciliation (master data, transaction history, CSV import) from legacy systems into NetSuite, working closely with finance and operations users to validate data accuracy before and after go-live.
  • 02Collaborated with CFO and Accounts Receivable teams to build extended reporting solutions (A/R Mutation, A/R Aging, Sales Recap), often acting as the sole technical bridge translating their requirements into working solutions.
  • 03Extended credit-limit control beyond NetSuite's standard behaviour, which only blocks at Sales Order, down to Item Fulfillment — blocking a fulfillment from being set to Shipped once the customer's outstanding balance reaches the limit defined on their master record, evaluated across both parent and branch customers and enabled per customer through a dedicated flag.
  • 04Paired that block with a controlled override so business can still release a shipment when justified: a supervisor ticks an Open flag on a branch record to release that branch alone or on the parent record to release every branch, and the flag clears itself automatically after one hour so a temporary exception never quietly becomes permanent.
  • 05Gathered requirements directly from end users and department heads to develop SuiteScript 2.x customizations (Client Script, User Event, Suitelet) and configure SuiteFlow workflow automations, streamlining approval processes across business units.
  • 06Consulted with finance, procurement, and other business stakeholders to design custom PDF/Print templates (FreeMarker, HTML, CSS) delivering the specific reporting formats they needed.
  • 07Built and maintained integrations using NetSuite REST Record API — GET requests to extract master data (Item, Customer, Vendor) and transactional data for external reporting systems, and POST requests to push master data into NetSuite from external systems.
  • 08Worked directly with end users to troubleshoot NetSuite-related issues, performing root cause analysis and delivering fixes and enhancements based on their feedback.
  • 09Interviewed front-office/HR users to gather requirements, then built a Visitor Management System using Laravel and PostgreSQL that digitized their previously manual, paper-based check-in and workflow process.
  • 10Built an HSE Working Permit system in Laravel and PostgreSQL to replace a paper-based process: vendors submit a permit with the work type, scheduled dates and job details, the internal team reviews it and decides whether the work can go ahead, and an approved permit issues a barcode that serves as the crew's pass into the plant area — leaving every request, decision and site entry on record instead of in a folder.

Extended Financial Reporting

A/R Mutation, A/R Aging and Sales Recap reporting built with the CFO and Accounts Receivable teams, extending NetSuite data into the formats finance actually works with.

What I did
  • Translated CFO and A/R requirements into report specifications
  • Built extraction logic on top of NetSuite saved searches and records

Digitized the front-office check-in process at Satoria Group. Built after interviewing front-office and HR users, replacing a paper-based workflow end to end.

  • Ran requirement interviews with front-office and HR stakeholders

  • Shipped the application and supported its rollout to daily users

HSE Working Permit System

Permit-to-work system for contractors at Satoria Group. Replaced a paper process with a submission, review and approval flow that ends in a barcode gate pass for the plant area.

What I did
  • Modelled permit types, scheduling and the approval chain from the manual process
  • Built vendor-facing submission and an internal review queue with approve / reject
  • Issued a barcode on approval, used as the crew's entry pass into the plant
